Mardi Gras, or the Mardi Gras Celebration is a time for conviviality and extravagance. Tiki drinks have a natural history of extravagance and so the mai tai fits in well here to the Mardi Gras theme, as does the Hurricane Suzy with its opulent ingredient list and funky hurricane glass (which lets face it, is a cool glass design). Brazil is home to Mardi Gras so the list wouldn't feel complete without the classic Caipirinha, and why have a normal daiquiri when you can go crazy with the raspberry version.
